About West River Club

At the West River Club, you will enjoy a room with all the country comforts, designated to you before you arrive.  Pack light if you’d like; shells are sold at the lodge and UPS delivers to the lodge so you can ship your gear.  Also, in preparation for your trip, you can send your dogs up beforehand to train with our local dog trainers.

Our in-house cook provides the best home cooked meals, after which you can down a drink at the bar, shoot a game of billiards, toss a few darts and get settled into your home away from home.  Speaking of food, while you’re on the hunt, lunch is served in the fields, allowing you to maximize bird time.  And at the end of the day, against the incredible South Dakota sunsets, we head back to the lodge for a dinnertime feast.

Other than the fabulous food, there’s a great sauna and a workout room with free weights and cardio equipment.  There’s also a full conference room, often used to conduct the serious business of a game of Poker. 

Great for corporate meetings and retreats or just some father and son bonding, you’ll always leave the West River Club with great stories to tell and some of the fondest memories that will stay with you year after year.
